What You'll Do:

 

As the RN Staff Development Coordinator, you will design, implement, and oversee training programs for our clinical team. Your expertise and guidance will empower our nursing staff to provide high-quality care and achieve clinical program objectives aligned with our mission. Your leadership will contribute to the enhancement of our resident care standards, resident well-being and the professional growth of our clinical team.

 

* Fulltime days;40 hours

* Sign-On Bonus:$5,000.00

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver orientation and ongoing clinical training programs that ensure the delivery of exceptional nursing care to our residents
  • Assess training needs of nursing staff, develop curriculum, and implement educational strategies
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure training aligns with regulatory requirements and nursing best practices
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and support to nursing staff to enhance their skills and performance
  • Coordinate orientation of all new clinical employees to ensure a successful new-hire start and regulatory compliance
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities and nursing staff certifications
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in nursing care

What You'll Bring:

 

Qualifications of a Staff Development Coordinator include:

  • Valid ME Registered Nurse (RN) nursing license
  • Advanced degree or certification preferred
  • Experience in a nursing leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in clinical education and development
  • Commitment to resident-centered nursing care and excellence in healthcare delivery
  • Inspirational leader with a focus on innovation and quality improvement
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
  • Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
  • Excellent communication, instructional and presentation skills
  • Strong clinical, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
