Health & Administration Liaison

 

What You'll Do:

 Support the DNS, by coordinating health protocols, patient contracts, billing, benefit scheduling, and employee engagement.

 

Duties:

  • Assist the DNS with time-sensitive patient tasks.
  • Identify and escalate critical patient issues to the DNS.
  • Coordinate with vendors, consultants, deliveries, and logistics.
  • Assist with meetings and events that promote team spirit and employee engagement.
  • Answer multiple phone lines and collect complaints from employees and residents for the administrator and DNS.
  • Organize and extract company data using PCC as needed.
  • Update patient demographics and confirm the power of attorney or conservatorship.
  • Support the management of medical records.
  • Ensures that Standards of Care Meeting occurs weekly
  • Ensures that outstanding clinical issues are resolved within a reasonable timeframe and communicates with DNS
  • Assists the DNS with monitoring clinical outcomes (falls, in-house acquired pressure injuries, and rehospitalizations)
  • Assists the DNS with reportable events to the Department of Public Health by ensuring regulated time commitments are maintained.
  • Coordinates monthly staff meetings for the DNS.
  • Manage DNS Emails by priority.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

 

 

  1. Associate degree.
  2. Medical Assistant Certification.
  3. 5+ years’ experience in medical office management.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Strong team-building, leadership, and analytical skills.
  6. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  7. Ability to navigate company systems (billing, benefits platform, etc.).
  8. Ability to work under pressure.
  9. Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
