The Pines at Heartwood is recruiting individuals who have a passion for serving others and would like to obtain their Home Health Aide/Personal Care Assistant certification, at no charge to them!

What You'll Do:

As a Home Health Aide Trainee, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship to develop essential skills in providing care to our residents. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn under the guidance of experienced healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in training programs to gain knowledge of healthcare protocols and procedures
• Learn and apply fundamental nursing skills under supervision
• Assist nursing staff in providing daily care to residents
• Support residents with activities of daily living, including bathing and grooming
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure the well-being of residents

What You'll Bring:

Qualifications of a Home Health Aide Trainee include:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
• Passion for healthcare and a desire to learn and grow in a Long-Term Care setting
• Compassionate and empathetic nature
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
