What You'll Do:

 

UAS RN (Uniform Assessment System RN) in New York is responsible for conducting assessments to evaluate the clinical, psychological, and social needs of individuals in various settings, including home and nursing homes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments using UAS-NY systems to ensure compliance with New York State Regulations
  • Evaluating health status, needs, and determining eligibility
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers to gather additional information and recommend appropriate care plans
  • Maintaining accurate records of evaluations and ensuring compliance with healthcare policies

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to effectively support patient care and service planning.

What You'll Bring:

 

Qualifications of a Registered Nurse include:

  • Valid state license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
  • Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
  • Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
