Payroll Analyst

 

What You'll Do:

As a Payroll Analyst, you will be part of our corporate payroll team. You will process and verify employee payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Your attention to detail will play a vital role in ensuring our staff are paid correctly and on time—so they can stay focused on what matters most: delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process multi-state payroll for employees across multiple skilled nursing facilities
  • Collect, calculate and process wages, benefits, deductions and taxes for employee payroll
  • Verify and reconcile payroll and benefit data to ensure accuracy and identify missing information or potential discrepancies
  • Process 401(K) Plan, PTO accruals and other payroll deductions and withholdings
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Support care center teams by responding to payroll questions and resolving discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain payroll records and files in accordance with company policies and procedures

What You'll Bring:

Qualifications of a Payroll Analyst include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5 yrs experience in payroll processing, certification in payroll administration or familiarity with payroll software and systems
  • Experience in payroll administration for skilled nursing or long-term care facilities

  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills to respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and efficiency

  • General knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws, including wage and hour regulations

  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Basic computer / data entry skills and proficiency in office software including Excel; Workday experience preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
