What You'll Do:

As an Assistant Corporate Director of Payroll, you will provide vital support to payroll operations. Your attention to detail and adherence to payroll procedures will ensure accurate and timely payments for staff, increasing efficiency and enabling our facilities to provide high-quality resident care.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, validate, and enter payroll-related data into the payroll system while maintaining strict accuracy
  • Identify missing information and retrieve data when necessary
  • Process and reconcile deductions, including 401(k) contributions, and other withholdings
  • Review and reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Support care center teams by responding to payroll questions and resolving discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure payroll records are properly maintained and securely stored in compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Process payroll transactions for new hires, terminations, wage adjustments and bonuses

What You'll Bring:

Qualifications of an Assistant Corporate Director of Payroll include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in payroll processing; certification in payroll administration or familiarity with payroll software highly valued but not required - training will be provided. 
  • Basic data entry skills with proficiency in Office software, including Excel. Workday experience strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional accuracy, prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively partner with both corporate, center-level staff and in a team environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive payroll information with integrity and discretion
  • Resourceful, proactive, solutions-focused approach
